An excerpt from the manuscript:
"Power and intimacy are the building blocks of self worth. If we have power and intimacy we feel good about ourselves. We are happy and successful. We have the capability to thrive. These are the very things easily hidden and overlooked which are found in the book of Genesis at the beginning of mankind.
"God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." NASB Gen 1:27, 28
Be fruitful, as I said before, that is relational, or alluding to the concept of intimacy. “Subdue the earth” well that sounds like an exercise of power to me. Man was given a garden to tend to (power). He was allowed to name the animals (power). At the very beginning of creation God’s master design for us was to enjoy this sense of empowerment. But it was also decreed, “It is not good for man to be alone” (intimacy). We were also designed to be relational. We were made in the “image of God” “male and female. The man and the woman together represent the “image of God.” Is God powerful? Most of us would say yes. Is God intimate? I think so. So, no wonder we too have these qualities indelibly printed into our beings. We both, man and woman need power and intimacy."

Power and intimacy is a concept I came across to help individuals and couples be successful and to have positive enjoyable relationships. As I counseled hundreds of couples over the years with this concept I saw positive results. Many of my clients would tell me to get this idea out there so others could benefit as well. Many people are frustrated and unhappy in their life and I believe this formula will help change their attitudes and give them clarity and structure to finding happiness and success. I have used this principle in my private practice for years and I get a resounding thank you from my clients. This formula is found in perfect harmony in both psychology and in Biblical principles. Currently I have finished the manuscript and I am in the process of gathering support to help make this dream a reality by making a book available to the general public. If you are interested in supporting this cause there are several ways you can help. This website will help you in that effort.
There are several ways you can support
the book process. One you can pray that the book is able to reach the
hands of those that need it. Two, if you like the concept, share the
